In the example of maruti car prices, shouldnt the inflation be 100% and not 50%. Just adding to the points mentioned, the real GDP is calculated by dividing the nominal GDP by the inflation factor. This will give a slightly diffent value than what we will get after subtrating the inflation percentage. E.g. GDP value = 100 rs--next year Nominal GDP = 108 rs.--inflation = 7%.
